Recently graduated with a masters degree in School Counseling from Arkansas State University

• I've passed the Illinois School Counseling exam, the PRAXIS 5422, & my university's comprehensive exam to earn licensure in AR and IL

Completed over 700 hours of school counseling internship hours (over half of which was spent providing direct services)

Experienced in K-12 Counseling thanks to interning at an elementary, middle, and high school. 

While an intern, I filled in for my school's counselor while she was on maternity leave.  With off-site supervision, I took on all responsibilities as school counselor for a quarter, while maintaining my teaching responsibilities. This includes:​​

• Individual counseling​

• Program development

• 7-8 grade Character Education classes

• Small groups

• Crisis management & prevention

I have served as the teacher advocate for students on the school's PBIS committee

Skilled at implementing Social Emotional Learning (SEL)
